Phoenix
These magical entities have been recorded in cultures all around the world. They are revered for their intense power and majesty.
The most commonly recognized image of a phoenix is one of crimson, associated with fire; known to be able to ignite itself on fire at will or to build a pyre to end its life. Through fire they are reborn from their ashes.
There are many phoenix who are firebirds, ancient and immortal, reborn in flame and dazzling to behold. However, there is an endless range of color and variety to these beasts. They are fierce protectors and their energy and magickal ability is feared by lower energies who wish to do evil. Such negative energies are extinguished by the flames and light of the phoenix. They originate from Astral realm and are rarely born in the Earthen planes.
Phoenix do not only pertain to flames, though. There too exists Thunderbirds, Phoenix of Ice, of Sylph (wind), and of pure divine light. There are also variety of dark phoenix, some of negativity, some just of darker origin. (A difference between dark and that which is evil)
Phoenix offer intense healing and protection, Rebirth in mind and perception, Astral travel, dreamwork, as well as all kinds of magickal properties in benefit to their Keeper.
They can manifest as a variety of appearances aside from their true form, from light, human, hot spots, cold spots, and orbs.
