Dragons
One of the most well-know and more revered of magickal creatures. They have been recorded through myth and age in nearly every culture. Before recorded man had communication with all continents and countries across the seas, there were depictions in many cultures of these amazing creatures.
Through the ages we now see a vast variety and diversity to these beasts. From Western dragons, to Eastern, European, and the like.
Dragons are some of the best entities to begin spiritual and magickal practice, for they have an affinity for mankind and are closely integrated in our culture and in our physical realm.
They are most well known for their origin from the Earthen realm, a realm layered and intertwined with our own physical plane, yet at a higher vibration. Within our physical plane are realms the dragons call their home. The dragon realm is of its own biological nature and complexity, however dragons also enjoy being in our realm (even though they still are at a higher vibration to our perception). These dragons are creatures living a life with a life-span just like ours. The range differs in species of dragon but can be thousands to tens of thousands of years.
There are also dragons strictly born in the Astral realm. These dragons are of exceptional abilities and power, and are very often beings beyond that of strictly a dragon alone - if that makes sense. Due to their Astral power and existence above Earthly realms.
Dragons have abilities specific to their breed and color as well as specialties based on their own individual gifts. They can offer amazing magickal capabilities, to healing and boosting psychic ability.. to helping influence improvement in human activities.
I have had a deep love for dragons all my life and have a constant flow of these amazing beasts around me everyday! They are absolutely amazing to behold!
There is a whole world in species of dragon. Every color, element, alignment, as well as those of iridescence. Dragons can be of good or evil. Dark or Light. (Dark Artes does not mean evil!)
Dragons tend to be very talkative! They can span many languages, including human, and often talk telepathically. They can be very loud and depending on the type of dragon, rambunctious! It is always okay to ask for an entity to calm their energy or even to move conversation elsewhere during sleep! Even if you do not feel you hear spiritual voices, you could still find yourself in a restless sleep because in truth, you are subconsciously hearing!
We also offer baby dragons, also known as drakes, that are born with wisdom and love for humanity and manifest with their Keeper and have close connection with their parents at the same time. They are amazing and can brighten up a room with their humor and love!
Let's note some different types, species and manifestations of dragons:
The Sun Dragon - This is a dragon of immortal power and limitless abundance of light and divinity. They are an Astral presence. It is known as God's personal dragon and is told to be called upon to carry the spirit of Jesus to the Earthen planes. It is the most spectacular dragon I have ever had manifest to me. It is very rare and special to behold. Its scales are made of gold and sparkling gold light. Its true size is beyond comprehension. It is so mighty and incredible I was unable to see its whole form in my mind's eye. The most notable of visions it shared with me were is breath-taking eyes of violet and cobalt swirling clouds. Within the eyes were literal galaxies and stars. The colors constantly swirled and changed, it was beauty beyond this world.
As someone closely linked to dragons it is an honor to tell of this mighty overseer, and to experience personally with their energy! The experience expressed to me that dragons have a limitless range of possibility!
Western Dragons - They are one of the most common depicted dragons in the Earthen realm, whom of which have four legs and two wings. They range in incredible sizes. They can specialize in certain abilities as well as particular elements. There is an entire range of colors, each special and further explained in its own listing. The most spectacular of colors being of Gold, Silver and White, they are all told to be closely aligned with light and good, bringing much radiance to them naturally. However, many other colors are sights to behold as well. (Gold dragons and White dragons are always aligned to do good and only good. They are Light Artes. Black dragons are always considered Dark Artes, however, this does not mean negative or evil!)
Chinese (Long) Dragons, Luck Dragons, and Wyrms - Many are familiar with the appearance of a Chinese dragon when shown a depiction in a drawing. They are most often recognized with long bodies that can be serpentine, and able to fly and spiral through the air without use of any wings. They have four stubby feet, and are shown to most commonly have a set of three claws. Four claws are recognized for noble blood, and five claws were used in the Yuan and Ming Dynasty to depict even further power. Often we see a flaming pearl or orb in these dragons claws. These orbs are symbolized for spiritual power and the abundance of treasure and wisdom that a dragon holds..
Wyrms are more serpentine, usually without legs or depicted with four legs and flightless. Some know these to be another name for the Long Dragons.
These dragons can be of either good or evil and range in all kinds of abilities, Many are known for their luck and are symbolized as a good omen. Others for revenge and destruction. (A Wyrm is not to be confused with a Basilisk)
Amphithere - Dragons with two wings, and no legs. Often they are feathered instead of scaled. They can be birdlike or reptilian in the face. They come in a wide range of colors and can be similar to a Phoenix. They can be either of light or dark. They have very impressionable energy and beauty. Their energy is intense, an energy of "I am here!". Pronounced and proud. They are extremely majestic and make a wide range of sounds, including beautiful songs. They also commune closely with animals.
Lindwurm - Dragons depicted with a long serpentine body, two front legs, and no wings. They are protectors and hunters. Sometimes on the aggressive-side and serious. They mostly like to be loners, and to have a place that is only their own. They bring abilities of courage and confidence, and ask to speak your mind. They will fend off any threat from their Keeper. They are considered dark artes (Not necessarily evil, but capable of good and bad), and often may have a bit of a bite to their personality.
Ouroboro - Depicted as the serpent or dragon eating its own tail in a perfect circle or infinity pattern, it is a symbol of the perfect cycle of life and all things. The symbol of the Ouroburo was first discovered in ancient Egyptian culture and is now used in alchemy and magickal practice today. These dragons are small, some with legs and wings, some without. They only reach a size of about one-foot in length when adults. They are able to change colors at will and are capable of wonderful magick. They are full of expression and personality. Those of good are very humorous and bright! They bring love into the heart and show you how to laugh and find joy in all walks of life. They bring so much creativity into life, improving your artistic skills, writing, sculpting, crafting, and of course, alchemy! They love shiny objects and jewelry and are overall just a hoot! Their scales and claws tend to be a bit on the sharp, spiky side, but they are just bundles of joy and often love perching on your shoulder or head.
Fae Dragons - Beautiful dragons of nature and magick. They range in many sizes and are capable of changing their size. Just like faeries may be of tiny stature and many backgrounds, faeries are capable of manifesting in a multitude of ranges, even a human-sized form, so too, these dragons may make themselves larger or smaller than true form. They are of all colors, and have wide ranges of fae-type of wings. These can be like that of a butterfly, dragonfly, dragonlike, or light,. Their true sizes can reach up to 2-3ft in height or as little as 5 to 8 inches. They may be apart of faerie families, helping fly faeries about on their backs. They love flowers and nature just like the fae.
Rainbow Dragons - These beautiful, divine dragons are aligned with light and love. They often can bring rainbows into manifestation in the clouds or bring your attention to rainbows that seem unexpected. They are aligned with the Astral and Earthen realm. They can walk both planes. Their wisdom is timeless and they are immortal beasts due to being of divinity. They are incredibly friendly, but too can be soft-spoken. The personality can vary with age. To be chosen by a rainbow dragon is a very rare and special experience. When they wish to help in a human life, it is very unique and empowering. They do not often choose to be directly with a human, but rather motivate and create joy with their directed energy, not their presence. That said, it is a very special connection to have a rainbow dragon choosing to have a vessel when given the opportunity. They bring about amazing insight! They are extremely friendly and often shine at the same level as angels! (Another category these dragons may be referred to as is, Celestial Dragon.)
Planetary and Elemental Dragons - There are dragons revered for their high level of energy, power and consciousness. There are dragons of space and time, as well as those made purely of the elements. Some rule storms or clouds. Some over specific planets, constellations, and stars. This is a brief summary of a very large range of dragons!
Holy/Light Dragons - These dragons are made of divine light. They can manifest in dragon-like form made of light, as well as, iridescent scales that shine with heavenly light. They classify as angels and are influenced in all elements of the Earth and oversee the dragon realms. They aid other dragons in enlightenment and are bringers of healing and love!
Queen/King - Is a term used by many practitioners to speak of dragons who rule or oversee a lair or order of dragons. They can be honestly of royal blood, but also may be termed Queen or King based on status and power. They have helpers devoted to them, not always just dragons, but other beings and animals. They are incredibly powerful and revered.
Most dragons have had offspring before and are apart of a family and bloodline of dragons. If you have one dragon with you they are still apart of a bigger picture. That is to say, family and friends of the dragon with you may visit. The difference in Queen or King is they are the leader or head of their lair or family. As well, they may be the charge of others who answer to them.
Whichever definition a practitioner chooses to define these dragons is up to their beliefs.
